More on Heather Bell

I can offer a little more information on Heather Bell (Summer 2012 NB) from the Waterways Archive. On 30th October 1944, Heather Bell was health inspected at Ellesmere Port, with the owner recorded as Miss D.M. March, and the master Miss D.M. Smith. There were two women on board, and they were carrying cocoa. There is also a photograph of Heather Bell and Thomas Clayton’s Ohio, at Wolverhampton, with Broad St Bridge in the background.
